Once I thought I knew
where everything should be found.
Then I found a wild orchid
growing beside the outhouse.
Was the orchid a striped coral root? To still look with the curiousity of a child is a great gift.
indeed it was! I think that’s the only wild orchid in our neck of the woods (might be some others up the highway or in HH). Just imagine what I’ll be able to see once I get my eyes fixed!
