Sub Rosa


Ad mari usque ad mare
Carpe diem ad infinitum
Et carpe noctem et carpe vinum.
Caveat emptor,
et cave canem.
And if I had a sub I’d name her Rosa.
But don’t tell anyone. It’s a secret.

    I didn’t study Latin, but tend to be rather sponge-like etymologically, lol! (funny how, what in English would be sneered at as cliches, in Latin sound so erudite!)
