Can't Put the Pen Down…

Things That are Worth Forgetting

The clever, cruel words that never escaped your lips and
the ones that did escape someone else’s,

the directions to despair,

and the fact that  only a whisp of air separates us
from the cold blackness of space.

Good Morning! Clever, cruel words. I read this line somewhere “I never regretted the times I was kind.” Then I thought of the adage “No good deed goes unpunished.”, those times when a small act of kindness results in big irritation as the ‘need for the deed’ mushrooms all out control. The whisp of air between us and darkness. Keep breathing. Breathe in, breathe out. I heard that in a song somewhere :]
