Excuse me while I
slip into something
a little more comfortable,
Ah de-nile. That long winding river in Egypt… I’ve gone down it a number of times.
I take that cruise every winter, heck, I should be getting the aquatic equivalent of frequent flier miles, lol.
Alas, I have given it up for life in the south of France. I never thought life could be so good. Bon courage et bon chance! 🙂
Merci! Ma francaise et terrible!
Not a problem. An effort and a smile go a long way here. 🙂
ha-ha. Me and denial, we go way back.
It’s common ground the world over!
Denial for me too. I am enjoying (in a perverse, sick and twisted say -it-ain’-so) way your poems slamming winter right back. Reminds me of your late spring poem where Mother Nature hurled a snowball at your truck windshield, you called her honey and ignored her. Stay the course. Or call Uniglobe. Your perogative. But whichever, stay warm.
Ah, yes. Enjoyed.
Winter is like the key of G demolished; either you get it or you don’t… 🙂
Dear Mr. Gibbons.
