With a steady hand
one can build a house of cards
from a deck of dreams.
But beware the breeze
of your own breath as you sigh
at its perfection
and the well placed dreams
slither down into a pile
of new potential.
Yes I agree with both comments; that first verse could stand alone as a quote in its own right. Fine work.
Doh! How dim am I? I’ve only just realised that each verse is a haiku! So, to amend my original comment: that 1st verse could stand alone as an amazing *haiku* in its own right!
Lol! I do tend to default to haiku fairly regularly.
